Entered into a new 2 year contract on 6/20/14 for $115 from previous $105. Inquired about going from 75/35 to 150. Told $185.

I decided I would try it and if not satisfied downgrade within the 30 day satisfaction period.

I still had the freezing, stuttering and buffering problems many have mentioned in this forum. The next day (less than 24 hours later), I went back to 75/35. I saw online that my rate was $140. I called CSR. They said that by changing the package I lost given discounts under the 75/35 agreement.

I was able to get an additional discount but, only for 1 year on my 2 year contract.

Just be aware and get a confirmation email before you make any changes..

Yes. I made the mistake of downgrading my 150/65 tier to 75/35 to save $20. But when I tried to go back to the 150/65 tier they wanted $40 or $50 more instead of the $20 it used to be. I could just kick myself. Especially after they changed to symmetrical tiers.
