[WiFi] Removal of Wireless Gateway?

Received the following blurb on my monthly Comcast bill the other day:

Because we had already billed you when the latest
changes were made to your account, we have adjusted
this bill. Listed in this section are credits and/or charges
for these changes.

Effective 07/22/14, Wireless Gateway at $8.00 per
month was removed.

Adjustments for previously billed services removed
07/22/14

Wireless Gateway 07/22 - 08/01 -2.84
11 days @ $0.2582/day based on a monthly rate
of $8.00

Anyone know what the above is about? I certainly didn't make any changes and in fact haven't talked to Comcast about diddly squat for months now.

It pretty obviously implies that Comcast thinks that you returned a rented Wireless Gateway box.

Do you (or did you at any time) use a rented Wireless Gateway box from Comcast? Perhaps even years ago (Comcast is not known for promptness when acknowledging the return of rented equipment)?

If you go to »customer.comcast.com/ and login, do you see a Wireless Gateway assigned to your account at »customer.comcast.com/MyS ··· Internet ?
