In the event this gets delayed until Fall and for those allergic - know that yellow jackets become very aggressive in the Fall season, and will attack someone at 10 feet from the nest with no provocation.

yeah, bees sting only as a last resort, because they know they'll die, because they leave part of their butt in you.. yellow jackets are wasps, and will sting you many times, and live, since all they do is inject you with the stinger..

I found out the hard way when cutting back some thick branches. . I remember I saw something fly.. next thing I know I got stung twice and I ran as far and fast away from that tree.

The sting site had pain for a few days
