[Electrical] Wago NutsI've started using these instead of regular wire nuts because they save so much time. However, the method of insertion is very similar to a backstab outlet. Anyone else use them, and any thoughts from the resident sparky's? » www.wago.us/products/ter ··· ies-773/Edit: I also have taken to using these: » www.wago.us/products/ter ··· verview/ |

Exact same problem as backstabs...fine for low power usage, not so fine when operating the circuit under heavy loads. Great for call-backs, though. |

As long as you use Wago brand, you shouldn't have any problems. They are fine. » Push on wire connectors» Wago Wall-Nuts» Wago Connectors |

I didn't know it was pronounced wah-go. We've always called them way-go. Even the guys at the supply house call them way-go. My guess is they don't care what you call them as long as you are buying. |

If the size is right, these would be mighty handy for road side repairs on the hundreds of feet of wire tractor trailers utilize, until a proper solder and heat shrink repair could be made. |

Good to know for sure, just used a couple on a 15A circuit junction. Supply house had both Ideal and Wago. » news.thomasnet.com/compa ··· g-825661 |

a lot of signs I repair have used those. I usually just replace all the burned wires, and use wire nuts.
......I would never even consider using them in my house after all the burned ones I have seen. maybe it's due to the moisture, but I just wouldn't feel safe using them in any environment. |
