Exchange Calendar Event reminders are duplicating/multiplyingI have a user that has exchange calendar events duplicating/multiplying. This is reflecting on her iPhone as well as in the OWA.
She's using a Mac with Office 2011 installed on it. But I tried to see if creating a new account in her name on a windows machine would show different results but it didn't.
Also when I open her shared calendar on my computer I too can see those duplicates.
Another issues which may be related to this somehow, is that her events marked private are able to be viewed by anyone.
Because this is reflecting in OWA, I'm leaning towards this being an issue with her Exchange Account and not with the outlook client on her Mac.
Any thoughts on what's causing this and how to fix it? |

Are new events duplicating or just older ones? |

Apparently it's old ones. New ones disappear. |

Sounds like she imported an older calender. If it were newer items still duplicating, then there would be something maybe on a mobile device. |

There's a number of google results on getting rid of them. First thing would be to remove all of her mobile devices from the exchange account as well as any other items (secondary computer etc), then you could go in manually and delete them » office.microsoft.com/en- ··· 565.aspxThere are also 3rd party tools that can be used to do this. |

There are also 3rd party tools that can be used to do this. damn, manually?? that's a lot of deleting. I wonder if 3rd party tools can wipe every duplicate and leave only the one you want. |

Might be able to export, and reimport with delete duplicates marked. |

I seen that as well but it seems like it's only for Windows Machine. And she's on a Mac. |

Then export / import and remove duplicates might be your best bet. Sorry I don't know much about the Mac version of Office. |
