Hello,
Anybody else in Ames experiencing an outage since at least 5am today?

Yes I am, we have been out since at least 6:30 am. I have rebooted both the router and modem without success. I am located along Ontario Street.

Can anyone from Mediacom update us on when this might be resolved.

They replied on Twitter the ETA is four hours.

Called up tech support, they insisted that the outage started at 7:40 and that they will not give compensation. They also said, if I want compensation I have to call back and ask (after the outage). What a bunch of BS.

I'm sure the OP is right and that it's been out since probably 5am or earlier.

Hi MediacomChad, were you ever informed what the cause of the outage was? If not could you try to find out? Also I noticed we had another half hour outage later that day. Thank you for your help.
