It's dead now.

Yes, Sprint's signal has been too useless to use anyway, but it technically was still unlimited if you could find the signal.

They're announcing more new plans on Thursday and unlimited data is likely to be part of them.

They still have unlimited, but unlimited on the slowest data carrier in the country seems counter intuitive.
That's why I have unlimited on T-mobile

It depends where you live. If you're stuck in one of T-Mobile's many EDGE areas, or one of their HSPA areas that's oversold, then Sprint could very well make sense. That's my current situation.
