[Networking] MI424WR gigE Subnet ChangeAnyone know how to change the subnet on the MI424WR gigE? I tried
My Network> Network Connections > Network (home/office) > Settings IP Address: 192.168.0.1 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.192 Start IP Address:192.168.0.2 End IP Address: 192.168.0.62 Subnet Mask: 225.255.255.192 Apply
After that it loses DHCP, and won't issue new IPs... Anyone know what i'm doing wrong? |

Hintedy-hint-hint would be the subnet mask: 225.255.255.192 change to 255.255.255.192 Also why are you complicating your life with the 192. You want only to issue upto 64 IP Addresses? Bit locked down it seems. Good if that's what you want but I would start with a simply 192.168.0.1/24 subnet and work my way to one that is more "controlled" |

Plus if you have any STBs, the router wants to give them IP addresses starting from .100, so not sure what would happen when you limit the DHCP to 62 max. |

If you have STBs, that's not going to work. The STBs have their own DHCP scope of .100 - .150.
Also, why are you changing the Actiontec's subnet to 192.168.0.x? If VZ ever sends a reset to your router, it will revert to standard settings of 192.168.1.x with a /24 subnet mask. |
