Re: Apple Issues Media Invitations for September 9 Eventthe last one of these events they did live went off with a hitch. I wonder if they are having bandwidth issues at the Flint, because I can't imagine they are saturating the link of the upstream provider/distributor. |

Launching in 10 days. Pretty quick! So the Plus doesn't have the constraints that were rumored.... |

I find that if I pause it after a hitch and then press Play Live or Resume from pause it usually starts playing again.
The iPhone 6 Plus is looking like the best option for me,....but I don't know if I'm going to bite,...
Edit:
The curvature of the edges of the face of the new iPhone design makes me wonder how a screen protector would work. |

I haven't worn a watch in at least 5 years. I think the watch will be a dud. Certainly, no one uses a watch to tell time. Why would you go with a bigger screen iPhone only to have a small little screen on your wrist. |

A lot of people still wear watches, and a ton of soccer mom MILFs still strap iPhones to their arm when they run in the morning. I see a couple of smartwatches in my office. |

Hey, I strap one on too (quit the sniggering). I'm certainly none of the people you just described. |

its big and bulky, like the original iphone. 3 years from now it will be half as thick and 4 times as powerful and they are going to sell millions. |

with apple pay and apple watch, and apple tv, etc, it's clear that the "i" prefix is dead. |

Yeah, the watch is pretty thick. Maybe that's why they haven't provided the dimensions yet. |

To be fair, it doesn't look like it's necessarily much fatter than some of the big Omega and Rolex's that are out there. Probably not much bigger than the Casio ones.
But I wear a very thin watch and don't want the bulk. Although I'm probably in the minority and the AWatch is far cheaper. |

I don't know if "Watch" is a good term for this.
My car has a clock in it but I don't call the whole thing a clock. If a Blu-ray player can display the time I don't call the whole thing a clock either. Telling time is just one function of this multifunctional wearable device.
Calling it a watch dumbs it down IMO,.... |
