Re: Whats your TWC bill looking like?

They remove the DVR discount. To make up for it TWC waive my 2nd set top box. Now my bill is 157.98

My bill is now $104.50ish for TV and internet plus $10.78/month for home phone service through two independent VOIP providers.

I use Callcentric for incoming calls ($7.45/month for unlimited incoming calls) and Vestalink for 2000 minutes of outgoing calls ($39.99 for 1 year when I signed up back in February). I am using an Obihai Obi110 device with both providers. Callcentric's crap call blocking is superior that of TWC's phone service. The crap call blocking was my primary reason for switching to VOIP (and the money savings is nice too). Vestalink said that they'd let me have the $39.99 price again when I renew next February.

Wouldn't I have to call TWC again in a year to battle the expiration of the promo price and being stuck paying more than $10-$15/month for phone service? And then there's the headache of porting my number again.

Wouldn't the upgrade to Turbo be extra also?

Is the 249.99 Signature Home is for 12 months. I was told by a TWC employee is a life time price. Is that true. Is Signature home worth the price?

It was $199.99 when I signed up for it online a year or two ago. I couldn't say if it's now a life time price or if it's worth it because they never came to install it.

I am sure others who signed up would be able to say more.

I don't know if I should sign up for Signature Home. After the 249.99 bundle and the $9 Variety Pass Plus with tax it would be like $270 or $280. That is too expensive for Cable.

I lowered my bill again I gained back my $7 value discount and my free set top box for a bedroom. I have 1 set top box and 1 Enhanced DVR. They are both connect to the Whole House DVR service. That lowered my bill from the 153.76 before to 150.98. I saving $40 from the new customer promotions. That is the Best deal that I ever had. So just to summarize everything up I got the Enhanced DVR and saved a extra $3. Here is a snapshot of the price.

I'm on Standard 15/1 for $34.99 (Single Play). I called today to ask about the new 100/5 Ultimate in Dallas and when the Maxx upgrade would start. I mentioned to the rep that 1Mbps upload was killing me. She said that since I have been a customer for over 20 years, she was going to upgrade me to Extreme 30/5 for 12 months at my current price to help until the Dallas Maxx upgrade is finished. Needless to say, I was/am very happy.

When Maxx is available, I might upgrade to Turbo 100/10, but I don't need 200/20 or 300/20.

I don't know if I should switch to this promotion. I don't want to call. But I am just saying. If I want to switch I will call in during the weekends when I am off. I want the faster speeds because they are visitors at my house and I don't want any slow downs on their end. That package would end up cheaper by a few dollars.

I don't think your visitors would be able to use enough bandwidth on a 100 Mbps connection, let alone a 300 Mbps one. I think you'll be fine with the speed you have now.

$89.99
I was on Ultimate 100 single play for $64.99. I added Starter TV to have a Double Play plan for $84.99 to get the Dell 2 in 1 deal. I have had that for 90 days now and my laptop should be shipped any day now.

I saw a deal online that I wanted to switch to so I called to try and switch and was told that it would be $135 for me and they would not honor the $89.99 price that is advertised because I do not qualify for it. Once I get my laptop I will cancel my TV and go back to single play.

Not a bad idea; I wonder if I could do the same.
