Try turning things off for 10 min and restarting everything to make sure your DNS cashes clear out.

Was up for a few minutes in High Park/Parkdale with half downstream speeds and full upstream.

Restarted Sagecomm modem for good measure ... no longer able to connect.

Just got confirmation that it's not quite all up and running yet, still a few issues to resolve. That's probably why we are still seeing users offline.

I tried powering off the modem for about 10 minutes. However, I'm still getting the following error when I try to establish a PPPoE session:
"LCP terminated by peer"

Crap. Looks like portions are still buggered up. Waiting and rebooting is a good idea still though. If it keeps hammering at it.. It eventually stops listening... Only way to clear it is to wait... But it also helps when thousands are all trying to get back online at the same time.

Tried powering down for 10mins... still no luck @ Richmond Hill

I was seeing a bunch of PADI / PADT entries in the Router logs. Now I see a bunch of PADO / PADR / PADS entries, but still no IP being assigned.

Reporting in: ADSL just went out in Scarborough. Was online until about half an hour ago, then it starte to slow down to a crawl, and now cannot get a PPPoE connection. ATM/DSL link is up though.

Is it just me or has TSI yet to tweet about this? Doesn't it seem reasonable that only a fraction of affected dsl customers will be following this thread as opposed to Twitter coverage? There might be an awful lot of pissed off people out there who don't know why their service is down and they should have better access to an explanation than sitting on hold with customer service.
