I feel like calling TSI, getting my dry loop number, then calling Bell to complain... this is ridiculous. If it was all DSL Users, including Bell, I wouldn't have so much of an issue.

Man. What a bummer.

It may help some to turn off your modem for something like 10-15 min and try again. Sometimes if you try too many times it starts blocking you.. May not be an issue but to be on the safe side give it a whirl.

Gave that a shot, but now the modem will not even sync. Before this I had sync but authentication was failing.

That page now shows outage on Bell's side as well. I'm in Toronto and it's still down.

Shouldn't the crtc have some sort of arditratuon committee to over these outages.....it verges on criminal if it can be proven as sabotage and yes I'm going there....this is unethical and if this were any other large company this could be a good reason to sue....is bell out at the moment for their customers?

Another Kitchener drone here. Woke up an hour ago with no connection. Shut down both my modem and router for 5 minutes but still no joy. Gonna leave everything unplugged and watch this thread.

Indeed, I connected another modem just to ensure that the modem is not the problem and the second modem cannot sync either. I have to believe this is an external issue.

Back up in Ottawa but TekSavvy DNS is not working for me. Switching to Google DNS servers at the Sagemcom gateway and I now have internet access.
