Chicago Bears 2014Cubs blows. Sox sucks. Bulls (season still depends on D-Rose) Come on Bears, I don't want to wait until Hockey season to see a Chicago Pro team make the play-offs.
My prediction is Bears win by 2 TDs against the Bills. |

From what I saw today, this team is not going to make the play-offs. |

The opener felt like preseason game #5. They looked like a 4-12 team on Sunday. Who are they going to beat in the Central?
Combined tackles for Briggs and Allen: 3. While giving up 193 rushing yards to a team with EJ Manuel at quarterback. |

The first half of SNF in Santa Clara was painful to watch... |

A different kind of comeback, but it made me think back to the Denny Green MNF Comeback against the Cards back in 06 -- A game the Bears had no business winning, but won it anyway. I have that feeling after tonight, too! And if memory serves, Da Bears went on to a Super Bowl that season =) (even if it was a loss) |

MNF in Jersey -- not pretty, but a W
Kyle Fuller for Defensive Rookie of the Year (after 3 weeks...)
Continuing the Honors of wearing #23 in this town |

Great Start of Game but we are loosing a lot of players to injuries. |

Agreed. Fuller has outplayed all the defensive players picked ahead of him. He has also outplayed that 2 DBs that were picked after him. (Pryor & Clinton Dix) |

So, the Bears are who we thought they were? |

Started out good. Getting really old watching Conte be three yards from the play he's supposed to be helping on. Saw him get beat pretty handily at least twice today. How much longer are they gonna put up with this guy?
And not an excuse but friggin seriously...The penalty calls are out of freak'n control. |

The Fox crew (John Lynch and some Play by Play guy I didn't even recognize) were pretty close to roasting the officials -- there were some phantom calls being made out there
I'm not gonna lay the loss at the officials' feet, though. Packer Week was gonna be a track meet going in -- the team to win was going to be the one who put up TDs every drive, and the team that won the turnover battle.
It hurts to type it, but well done, GB.
Maybe Da Bears lost, because not enough replacement players were in on D. Conte played the whole game, right? Seemed like the last couple weeks, other than the Peanut injury, the Defense got better as it got the younger blood in there |

Realistically, the Bears were moving the ball effectively. The Bears shot themselves on the foot on several occasions which included, Cutler over throwing Jeffery in the end zone, bad clock mgt before the half, Martellus Bennett not crossing the end zone and leaving it to the officials to make the call, no pass rush from the D, and of course the TOs.
With all of that, Rodgers played like an MVP yesterday ... |

I'm not ready to put this one on jay. The defense & special teams can't be giving up 28+ points per game. If they do, there won't be many more wins this year.
And they barely went down field. Every play was a screen it seemed. Even after they knew they weren't working. And that last forte fumble pretty much ended the game. |

Yes I was hoping he was down by contact. BUT he coughed it up before he even hit the ground. Oh well onto Atlanta. |

If the Bears offense don't shoot themselves on the foot, they are very difficult for any defense to stop.
Also, this is the 1st time in almost 2 years where the defense looked like the Bears defense of old. It was a swarming, attacking defense yesterday. |

Yeah they looked pretty good. Especially considering all of their starting line backers were out. |

Should probably keep those "starting linebackers" out for another game to see how these guys hold up. They performed great on Sunday. If Briggs did not come back, I wouldn't miss him, unfortunately. |

Marsha Brady could have put 41 points on this defense today. |
