Since Verizon isn't making their swivel case anymore since they allergic to money... not like I saw those things everywhere... I found the clone. »www.amazon.com/i-Blason- ··· +holster
The Midnight Blue leather case looks pretty nice to me. Haven't found a third-party case I like for the iPhone 6 yet. May end up trying to use it without a case.
Waiting for Speck Candyshell Grip case in black for iP6+ to be released Friday. I have had this case on my iP5 for two years and it is light, thin, rubberized for better grip, and best of all it has protected the phone when I've dropped it. it even survived a face down drop once. I picked it up randomly as a temporary case when I bought my iP5 and liked it so much that I kept it.
I ordered a black leather case with my iP6. When i'm spending $1k on a phone, whats $50 more. I will look into better cases down the road but i want some protection right off the bat, especially with that protruding camera.
What good is the case if it doesn't protect the part that would shatter?
Otterbox saved my iPhone 4 more than a few times dropping it on cornet from about 5 to 6 feet and not a scratch. Though, I'm not a fan of how bulky it makes your phone. But I haven't been using it in about 2 years now because the belt clip broke back in 2012 and I was sticking it in my pocket. The silicon of the case kept getting stuck on the fabric so I took it out of the case. I then changed the back of the phone to an aluminum look from this site:
I won't test if the screen protector actually protects like it does in the video but i have dropped it a few times at the gym on the steel framing of some of the machinery without it breaking. But that could just be nothing but luck. The back panel however would have been destroyed with scratches and possibly cracks, had I not changed it out. Because it is dented and scratched like crazy. If I ever decide to sell it all I have to do is simply swap it out for the original, which is still in new condition.
All in all I think at the time, the total cost was about 25 bucks for both the panel and the screen protector.
Notwithstanding the cheesy, dubbed sound effects in the video, would those light "love taps" break an unprotected screen? I know screens break if they fall or are hit a certain way, but would they be protected by that wrap? Have any of these done side by side comparisons?
Not everybody buys a case with the expectation of their phone never breaking or needing that level of protection. I can count the number of times I've dropped my phones (going back nearly 10 years to my Treo 650) on one hand.
So when I'm looking for a case, I need it to be thin (but still rigid), light, not cover the screen at all, and have a small overlap/bezel on the front of the phone. Pretty much the opposite of an otterbox
I bought the case and Glass Screen Protector from Spigen. I have similar products from them and they all havel been great. Great customer care/fixing issues.
