#1 Do not worry about the outbound ports.

#2 You need to use the Custom Service Feature.

#3 For the service name, you can type in anything that you want to as long as:

a) It fits

AND

b) You know what it means.

#4 For everything else, like this...

a) One rule for Protocol UDP 3074 as the Start, End and LAN port.

b) Another rule for Protocol UDP 35000 as the Start port, 35099 as the End port and LAN port i believe is 35000.

For the LAN port this is based upon one of the games/apps that uses a port range and any router that has LAN port (or Base Host Port), from source: portforward.com -> Port Forwarding Guides -> Westell -> Skip This Ad (or something like that) -> Versalink-327W -> Active Worlds

Stupid question, did you try playing before opening ports? And did you have a noticeable problem.

Have you run a NAT/Internet/Connection test on your console? What were the results.

If you enable UPNP on the netgear 7550 then you wont need to worry about any ports being forwarded it will take care of it.

And per »www.bungie.net/en/Help/A ··· le/11931 only port 3074 UDP is required inbound.

Be sure that your ISP modem doesn't carry NAT. You can configure the router all day however it wont work if your ISP modem has NAT. Bridge it if your ISP and Modem support his. Stand alone modems don't have NAT.
