[iPad] Can't install iOS 8

I just tried installing the update 2 times and it downloads ok, prepares ok, goes to the apple logo, no error messages. I get into the general setting tab and see it's still 7.1.2 when it's done.

How much free space do you have?

What device is it,...?

Are you sung iTunes or OTA on the device?

Installed this time. The only reason I thought of making more space is I got around to reading the comments in the iOS 8 thread. Why didn't Apple program the update to tell us if the update bombed because there was insufficient space

I'm fairly certain most people have gotten exactly that message. Like this one: »www.cnet.com/how-to/how- ··· r-ios-8/

On the plus side, my iPad was suffering from lag and stutter. Not anymore after the upgrade.

MVM,

So iOS 8 works better on your mini (non-retina) than iOS 7? I've been debating upgrading mine because iOS 7 was a big sluggish on it (mostly Safari).

Yeah. So far anyway.
