[DSL] Now Blocking Inbound Port Traffic?Up until yesterday at 2am inbound port forwards were working fine to my DSL modem. At 2am they stopped and my modem was rebooted.
Now I can't access them and when I do a port scan I see this: Not shown: 1675 filtered ports PORT STATE SERVICE 20/tcp closed ftp-data 21/tcp closed ftp 25/tcp open smtp 500/tcp closed isakmp 1723/tcp closed pptp
Frontier swears up and down they changed nothing. This smells like a "Great Firewall of Frontier".
Anyone else? |

Re: [DSL] Now Blocking Inbound Port Traffic? So more on this.... the DSL modem is showing the incoming traffic as "Blocked"... what on earth? The firewall is set to None/Off and the Static NAT is configured. This modem literally has not been touched in months. |

Now almost 2am... after hours on the phone with tech support, I removed the Static NAT and setup a slew of port forwards... they seem to work.
Why after three years the Static NAT just decided to stop, I have no idea. |
