Cable users → Help with this report pls...

Hello all...

I live in the Pacific northwest here in the U.S.
My cable provider is Wave Broadband.

I've checked my speeds here since DSL Reports was new, and this is the first time that I have ever seen this in the results. For the past year or more, Wave Broadband has become more and more degraded for us here in the Puget Sound area.

What is the ISP upload compression referred to in the image?
Why is my ISP not being reported?

What type of Modem do you have? Since this is a Cable users forum, assuming a normal cable modem, the report of upload compression is incorrect but really a report that your connection is giving variable results on the upstream. For a full explanation of what the test does see
