[Plumbing] how to remove peerless faucet handle with no visible alen screw
Helo my house came with peerless brand faucets In the kitchen and bath room. The kitchen one is wobbly and leaks I want to Remove it I can take the stems off but the actual taps don't come off mine are different than any thing I see on the net there is no hole to put Allen key to unscrew the handle. Here lemme post a picture:»a9.wal.co/images/Thumbna ··· x202.jpg OK it's almost like mine but mine has no screw hole in the handle. Any ideas
The handle is giggly all I wanna do is tighten it up I don't need to remove the hole thing eh? All I wanna do is remove handles and tighten it up I even went as far as attaching 2 photos the second one is the one that I have exactly how difficult is it? I no newer faucets made buy this company have holes for the Allan key this one does not
The HANDLE only is loose I just want to tighten it but can't figure out how to remove it. The faucet itself is fine its secure. I posted 2 fotos can any one advice?
Neither of the pictures you posted are of -your- faucet - you just said they are similar... Not helpful.
If there isn't a set screw holding the handle onto the cartridge stem, they may just be press-fit... Have you tried carefully prying the handle with a flat screwdriver?
hey seandesmond, have u tried calling the company? judging by your post they may have been closed at the time you posted your message, so since its monday you can give them a try they should be open today.

Actually he just said it was another pic - he never said the second picture was the exact as his faucet. Looks to be the same faucet in both just from different directions. Problem is - with no model info and pictures that really don't show anything - their question can't be answered.
There is probably a cap on the end of each handle. If you know the model I cant imagine there is not a manual for it online. I have just now found manuals on the peerless website. Use the model number and get the parts diagram which will show you how they come off.
umm yeah that video is definitely wrong, you have peerless, the video is for Moen, its a HUGE difference who ever posted the video failed to check the difference
