Cox → [CATV] Dead DVR box?

so i was watching a recorded show and the box froze and screen turned purple.
so i unplugged it and replugged it in.

now all it does is display -:- for about 5 secs and the circle blinks 25 times then it shuts off. it'll turn back on in about 15 minutes go thru all this and shut off.

it doesn't even get the time from cox nor is there a video signal coming from box.

yep it's dead

I guess bit torrent is my dvr til i can get out to cox to swap it out. NATURALLY this happens when all the new seasons are starting.

sickrage IMO. It's better than a DVR: No need to fast forward on commercials because there aren't any. Oh and did I mention it's free?
