New PK5001A modem/router and camera won't connect to PCI recently had trouble with DSL dropping out, so CL sent me a PK5001A modem/WLAN device to replace the simple modem I used to use with my own WLAN device (Linksys). Everything works fine (ethernet PC, wireless laptops) but my Samsung camera can no longer find my PC with the software to upload pictures over the WLAN. The camera seems to find the wireless network and connect using the LAN password just fine, but after a few seconds it says it can't find the PC with the necessary upload program. The PC is the only thing connected to the Ethernet ports on the PK5001A.
BTW, I also can't set up a home network using Windows 7 Pro. I'm guessing it's related.
Anybody know what it is about this new modem/WLAN device that would make things go haywire? |
