Noise Margin - Download vs Upload

When I run UV-Realtime it shows a nose margin of 14.5 down and nothing for up.

The admin screens of my 3600HGV show a noise margin of 14.5 down and 7.2 up.

I haven't read much about the upload noise margin, is it as critical as the download noise margin?

With ASDL2+ IPDSLAM at 9800ft from the CO, I had stable 6/768 service my SN margin was 6-7db down and 12db up. Now on Power Speed, with a 55/6 bonded connection I have close to 30/30 SN Margins on both lines. My loop length from the VRAD is about 900 feet from the VRAD since they moved me to VDSL2. I was told that they want a SN Margin of 10+ for a given sync rate, but I had a solid connection with 6-7 for 6 Meg service. I assume that upload SN margin is equally important for stable connections at whatever your sync rate you are trying to maintain.
