iOS8 app updatesI have automatic app updates disabled, but I find that the update badges dont show unless i open the app store and then they appear...
Is this normal behaviour? It was the same on my old iPhone5/iOS7 but I thought it might have been because due to jailbreak...
Not running any JB now for obvious reasons, and the apps update badges still don't appear. |

It doesn't happen instantly or even "frequently" but yes, eventually the badge will update with "a" number.
More often than not, however, there are additional updates that increase the count when I next open the app store and at which point, the badge is also updated to that number. |

I would imagine that if you have auto updates, that there is no badges, the apps are just updated and you get the blue dot next to them.
nvm, i misread your reply as saying you have auto updates enabled |
