Did you contact Rogers about this?
Not sure, how exactly we can help you.
Maybe its your line ... maybe you are on right profile? Which modem do you have? Can you post line stats? Can you post speed tests outputs? |

ur gonna have to call support and go through the hurdles to prove that ur speeds are slow and if they are that its not the fault of rogers, eg. malware, ur pc is too slow, another pc on ur network has malware, someones hacked ur wifi, the sky is light blue not dark blue, etc etc ......good luck with that |

No, his speed is "UP TO" 30/2 Remember the TOS, they don't even have to provide service and you have to pay them.
"Hi speed" is anything above 1mb

How exactly are you testing your speed? Are you wired, connected directly to the modem with ethernet? Wi-Fi? |

I'll bet wireless. When I do these service orders, I test the wifi at 10' sections. The result is usually. At modem 95%+ speed. 10' 75% 20' 50% 30' 0-30%.
Then I wire in with a laptop that never goes online, is only used for work and test. 100-120% speed of package.
Then I explain that your speeds on wireless is not guaranteed in anyway since Rogers can't control the materials your house is made of, your neighbors wireless devices etc.
Then I bill you for the service order. |

said by cepnot4me:Then I wire in with a laptop I have been a Rogers Internet customer for about six months now. During that period, with *wired* speed tests, I have usually received about 10-20% more download speed than my plan promised. So I certainly have no complaints. YMMV. |

Speed boost did juice my speed test numbers a bit, when I was on 150/15, but speed boost actually ends before the test does, so it only partially inflates the results.
I'm now on 250/20 and as far as I can tell there is no speed boost, the test runs flat out for its full duration. I test at 325/21. I can only speculate (someone more knowledgeable than I may wish to comment) that the 250/20 plan is not governed/limited, so therefore it can't be temporarily boosted. |

There are two variants both called SpeedBoost.
The first is the one described on the page displayed ... automatic increase in speed as available on your node. This has largely been disabled for nearly a year.
The second is one you subscribe to where you get an increase in speed for short period like an evening, once per month. There is a link to that page where it describes this but points you to the page describing the first!
Not being a Rogers internet customer any more I can't comment about the availability of of the second variant since it was enabled through "MyRogers" page ... but I haven't heard of anyone actually activating it.
The first variant seemed to disappear months ago although it may still be helping a few people. |

If you log in to customer's portal, where you check your bandwidth, it tells you there that speed boost is available and its hyper-linked to link i provided.

It's still there, I don't count on it. It's a perk, inconsistent and not something you should expect. If it happens, great! It's like when you find fries at the bottom of your McDonald's bag, it's an unexpected bonus that doesn't always happen.
What we consider acceptable is 3-4 tests that is no less than 1-3mbps below the speed ordered when averaged on a wired connection.
Our laptops we expect no less than 1mbps less, cause our laptops should be running nothing Internet related in the background during a test. |

Most of people (even reading in Rogers community forum (their own) ) they are getting much better \ faster results on their 150 - 250 service (and i can confirm this as well) - and that is on going non stop, so, can't really complain there, expect to say, Good work Rogers. |

As someone who lives in BC, I am extremely envious of you guys getting 150-300 Mbps out of those internet plans. |
