If you have an active (or "hot") cable drop at your place, I'm pretty sure you can use it.

Whether or not that's allowed by Rogers (doubt it) is another story. You should look into a Slingbox if you'd like. I'm using that while I'm off at school (1,000+km), and it works beautifully.

It depends, like anzio said, if your line is hot, yes you can. If you live really close by your parents yes you can.

It has to be active on their account to work. And if it's from a different region it may shut itself down once it tries to authenticate itself, or Rogers audits which boxes are on what node.
