Um, Are You Missing The Point?

People using the internet as an alternative will be out of luck as more and more cable companies come up with another revenue stream i.e. via unjustified usage caps.

pretty much. cord cutters should be rooting for this tv model to continue because once it comes crashing down, internet prices are going to skyrocket or data caps are going to get even more punitive.

That's why broadband needs to be regulated by the PUC. Wireless carriers should also be regulated. But the good news its looking like the Comcast merger is going to die. We are already seeing the benefits of the ATT T mobile merger that was cut short. T - mobile has sparked competitive plans to the point that verizon and ATT have responded. But its not enough. But as for internet.. that needs to be under PUC. It's a utility IMO at this point.
