Well that's kind of lame

Now I need to give $3 more a month to use 4k when I can't even use it on a PC that supports 4k. So I would be limited to my one TV. I have watched most of the 4k content on Netflix already that I liked so I will wait on this one.

If they had more 4k content it would be worth it, but they have hardly added any and then bam a $3 price increase. That is there choice though and really they mostly said higher production and acquisition cost? Why would it cost more when so much stuff by default is shot in 4k or higher and why would the movie makers make the acquisition cost higher?

I think it has all to do with the data pipes they now pay a bucket load for and that's fine. But they should make that more clear in there statement.
