Thanks siljaline . Will wait a day or two...remember the fuss over at Wilders over the last major update? |

I d/l it and hope that it doesn't screw anything up. With all that's out there today, I have hopes that what they did to change in it for this update will help. |

Anyone have problems with this?
I've had several "not respondings" on scan. Not sure if it is O.K. now. |

Should not be any different than installing over top that most us do out of routine all the time. |

Try a reboot and try again. Not unusual for a large software reconfiguration. |

I updated earlier with a reboot. All seemed well. But now Malicious Website Protection is disabled and clicking on "Fix Now" doesn't do anything. Wish I'd waited to update. |

Twitter and other places are busy with this. Tell the MBAM Team via web feedback: » www.malwarebytes.org/sup ··· contact/They are actively working on the bug(s). Those that have accounts at the MBAM Forum should start issue threads there. |

Gee, wouldn't it be nice if they tried it before they released it?
They could release a Charlie version or something like that. |

I use the free version. I put it on one Win 7 64 bit machine and it seems to work fine. I don't know about the premium version though. |

I downloaded free version into Premium folder on XP and Win7, no bother. Followed by a scan on both machines. This would have been earlier versions of this update. |

Thanks. After looking at the MBAM forum thread, exited MBAM, removed C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\rules.ref, restarted MBAM, updated and then clicked "Fix Now." That made it right. |

I had the same issue when I woke the computer from hibernation this morning. Couldn't get the website protection to start up. Finally clicked scan and a window popped up saying that my datebase was out-of-date or corrupted and to download a new version (my database number was showing as all zeros), which I did. MBAM then did a full system scan (negative) and yet the Dashboard still showed the Website protection disabled. However, when I once again clicked "Fix Now" it actually did, and everything changed to green. Though it appears that my MBAM version itself didn't update because I'm still showing version 2.0.2.1012. |

I hope this is better than some of the first 2.x versions, I'm still using 1.75 (it just works) they're probably break it soon. |

If you used MBAM clean and all that jazz, dp means you've had to reconfigure all the settings and you've lost your log files. Marcin wrote elsewhere it was or is an issue with the CDN but that may have been superceeded by a bad release or one that needs to be reset. |
