[Networking] Linking printer to new router.Cant link my printer to the new router. There is a linking button on the router for wireless connecting but it isn't lit. Help |

The Actiontec doesn't support Wireless Protected Setup (WPS). You will have to set up the printer either manually through it's front panel, or by running the printer manufacturer's setup software. |

Yep, funny thing is my WCB3000N has WPS but the router doesn't. Simple set up though, hgs. |

It should be old news by now but WPS is not secure. If left enabled on any router, it can be hacked in 24 hours or less. Verizon has possibly disabled WPS in their firmware as a result. Just google WPS security risk and you will find plenty of information on how easily this is done. |

Good point on the WPS. On the push button WPS it's only enabled for a period of time. Two minutes on the Actiontec extender. |
