Specs for rohn 100ft ssv tower

I recently purchased a used Rohn 100ft SSV tower from a local municipality that had a new tower on a hospital instead.

Does anyone have any specs for the concrete mat for this? The base is section 6N, so I need a square concrete mat that is 10' 3" wide, 4" deep, for 15.6 cubic yards of concrete.

I found I need part number 6NABDST anchor bolt assembly.

Does anyone else have anything else I can use towards this?

Rohn has the specs on their site for foundation design and rebar placement.

I think you'll find that is 4 feet rather than 4 inches deep. You'll also need to consult a soils engineer to evaluate your intended installation location.

Yea 4' is what I meant to put

I've looked that over. That is where I got the specs above from. I guess just use 1/2" rebar? horizontal, each way, top and bottom.

Also, I though I remember a PDF or website that was like 50 pages long documenting someones tower build. Anyone remember that? It was older, I think you sent it to me John

A structural engineer will tell you exactly what is required for the steel...size and spacing.

The last tower that I put up, the municipality required a soils study and a stamped engineers print for the footing and tower loading. You may or may not also need to go through your local zoning commission.

We are going through something similar on a 140' to be installed in the spring.

Anyway the footing specs on the Rohn site should tell you what size rebar and mats you need.
