Anyone here played with CoreOS? Anything worth writing home about?

MS loves 'nix.
Dear MS, talk is cheap, release all your mysterious patents that you claim 'nix infringes upon, or at least list them so that they can be avoided by those of us using OS, or those that wish to develop OS.
Thanks, heart you too! *Kisses*

CoreOS talks a big game, but I've yet to see it do anything that a minimal Debian or Ubuntu Server couldn't do. I've used all 3 in various cloud environments. All of the main packages in CoreOS are readily available in any Linux distribution and/or repo.

So Microsoft makes it easier for Linux to work with Azure. You have to buy Azure. Sounds like Microsoft hearts your money more.

It's just another linux server - tuned to work well hosted in Azure. If you want to use Azure instead of EC2, but you want linux and not windows servers, this is for you.
