I am currently experiencing really slow speeds on a 15Mbps connection in Montreal: speed tests reveal an average of 1.5Mbps. I started noticing it as even low-definition youtube videos would stutter, and then downloads would take forever.

Anyone from TSI monitoring what's going on?

I'm out in Kirkland in the west island and it's been very slow/intermittent tonight. I rebooted both router and modem on my end but it's still slow. Last night I also had some major latency also.

I'm getting super low speeds in Montreal too, but I'm on cable. Maybe if both cable and DSL are now terminating at the Montreal PoP, it could be a problem there?

Latency isn't catastrophic, but definitely more like old-style DSL at 46ms.

i'm dsl atwater area, and as far as i know, i've had no slowdown.

cubytus, it shows at 4h35am you received a response. with a 6 hr gap between your response and a previous response, i'd guess tsi wasn't monitoring the thread.

In my case, I'm on 7/1 with 8.5M/880k sync so I'm exactly where I should be: about as good as I am going to get without upgrading or trying to get an ADSL2+ modem that likes IKNS better than my six years old ST516 for the extra 136kbps up.

AFAIK DSL does not terminate in Montreal yet.
