Some shots while setting up for our railroads first Ghost Train Ride. This was for our "Dry Run" to see how we can improve for next year when we have the tourists ride.
This is taken at www.DellsTrain.com Where many of the nations's Grand Scale narrow gauge locomotives were built back when it was the Sandley Light Engineering Company. It is now the Riverside & Great Northern Historical Preservation Society. The track runs down a old Cival War era railway right of way, which Sandley used for demo'ing his locomotives.
The cabin shown, was his "get away" house. Only accessible by train. Now mostly used for storage, but thats about to change. We are working on ways to utilize this camp for tourism, as we pull tourist trains through here. Currently we have a Pumpkin train, which runs through out October, where we stop here and the kids get to pick a pumpkin.
