PSA: Don't forget to turn off or adjust QoS settings on your router for the new speeds!

I suppose I'm one of the odd ones on here still on the slower side of things ... but a tad faster now.

So I guess this confirms no change in upstream speeds.

Old 10/1 tier
New 15/1 tier

QoS on (VoIP is in use so upload QoS has to be conservative)

Reminder to all those with 90 tier who catch the new speed tier today. You MUST have a gigabit adapter for that wired connection no 10/100. See the sticky thread at top of forum for more details.

Any speed test results from the Indy market? I am curious to see the new speed upgrades in action for my area.

I'm not sure what the official new speeds will be. I'm on Lite Internet and now getting:
2.31 Mbps download / 0.64 Mbps upload

I'm assuming that's roughly 2.0/0.5 speeds.

This will definitely help.

Birmingham...

1st test went to Detroit and wasn't very good, but when I connected to Tampa and Orlando, the numbers were much better!

My upload number isn't that great yet, but I will watch it.

Turn off the QoS in your router...it's messing your upload speeds.

Wow! Now I want lightning 150. I have absolutely no need for it (really don't need 30), but it would be cool to see a speed test showing those speeds.
