Is the Cable Activation Fee waived if going from Teksavvy to Vmedia?

I'm debating switching to either Start or Vmedia because 150GB isn't enough for me.

I know Start waives any activation fee if I have my own modem and transfer from an existing cable service.

Does Vmedia do the same?

We also offer 300gb and unlimited. We also offer unlimited with the 300gb pricing with Zap The Cap.

I think the cost of switching from an incumbent is tariffed at 20 bucks.
If Start is eating it, they're making up for it on the cost of the service.

The main question was whether or not vmedia would lower the fee, not if we did (customer is already with us).
