Hahutzy join:2013-02-14	Hahutzy Member 2014-Oct-30 5:06 pm Is the Cable Activation Fee waived if going from Teksavvy to Vmedia? I'm debating switching to either Start or Vmedia because 150GB isn't enough for me. I know Start waives any activation fee if I have my own modem and transfer from an existing cable service. Does Vmedia do the same?

I think the cost of switching from an incumbent is tariffed at 20 bucks. If Start is eating it, they're making up for it on the cost of the service.
