[Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?

I'm using TWC DNS servers, and if I search for a nonexistent domain (e.g. "aabdfdsfdsfsdf.com" ) I get the search redirect landing page.

I click Preferences (which links to »www.dnsrsearch.com/prefs.php )

And then DISABLE the Web Address Error Redirect Service

And click Save

But an hour later, I'm getting the same results.

i had this happen with my TG1670... Call and talk to Tier 3, they can disable it from their side and it will stay disabled.

Did you powercycle your modem or release/renew your DHCP lease?

I'd try it. Setting may have to be forced to refresh.

Re: [Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?

Interesting : even though I did not reboot my modem or renew the DHCP lease, my dynamic IP address changed unexpectedly.

Still seems broken though: I set the Error Redirect service to DISABLED and yet I still get redirected...
