[DSL] Tech install today, but cannot connectTech just completed his install, tested the line and said that I was getting perfect rates and ping, but when connecting to a computer, it is not detecting an IP. I tried to setup a new connection on my laptop using PPPOE, but am getting an error with the device.
Do I need to wait until tomorrow for it to be activated? I used the login credentials provided in the email I received, but the email also indicated that the modem should be preconfigured. |

Taking a look at your account and order right now.
But no you don't need to wait until the next day. That's only if a trouble ticket to Bell is necessary. |

You're order is still sitting in dispatched status.
What's the DSL light on the SmartRG doing? |

Sent PM back, but I just realized something. During the purchase, I did note to set Modem using Bridge Mode. Could that possibly be why? As I will be using a separate router, but right now I am trying to connect directly to my Laptop. |

The bridge mode is why you won't get an IP address from the modem.
It won't stop you from connecting however. |
