Can't load my own thread on these forums?

I recently posted a thread, with the title 'DNS prefs not sticking...'

When I try to view it, I get a NGINX 403 Forbidden error.

Some sort of firewall rule gone awry?

Do you mean this thread? I see it.
»[Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?
And who's firewall, yours?

Interesting: your URL is split into two Urls, and if I click the first one it works.

This works:
»[Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?

This doesn't:

»[Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?

Seems like a forum software bug with URLS in the title of a thread topic?

(drat: my "This doesn't work" url has been mangled by the forums..)

The URL that doesn't work is this (spaces inserted to fool the forum software)

http : //www.dslreports.com / forum / r29648602-Internet-DNS-prefs-not-sticking-http-www.dnsrsearch.com-prefs.php

I suspect your title broke the thread in a way that triggered the web server to think you're trying to do some sort of script injection . I suspect nginx (the web server software) is being used as a Reverse proxy fashion.

I bet you are right. Probably the combination of
< smart ass statement > ? < url >

is forbidden 403.

MVM,

Yep.

Fun fact: the words in the URL are meaningless:
»[Internet] DNS prefs not sticking?
