Is their a problem? Because I am jealous at your speeds especially upload.

Anti-Problem. Speed is 50% faster all of a sudden. And stably so it appears.

I'm just wondering if this is legit, or did i somehow please the bandwidth gods.

The 155 is fast... but DAT UPLOAD!

I am not seeing that on Ultra in Upstate SC but St Louis is where they normally launch speed upgrades first.

Dang!

How about sharing some of that upload?

Could care less about the download.

How come it says Belleville, IL by your name? Was hoping you weren't really in St. Louis and that upload was coming up this way!

I am not a Ultra user and there is nothing new on whatever the other tier of internet is. Maybe they are getting ready to roll out upstream bonding? (one could only hope)

Here is my recent speedtest. I have been getting 110 Mbps down for almost 2 weeks now as well. It seems to be real since I can manage 13MB/s on torrents.

My download went to 110 as well. Upload is still 4.25, however I have QoS on my router and I'm too lazy to disable and retest.

That would be 50% faster. 150% would be 250Mb/s download.

Someone else mentioned upstream channel bonding. Anything show up on your modem status screens to indicate that?

Charter should be able to provide 8 Mbps upstream with just 1 channel.

I've been on the Ultra tier in west Belleville, IL off 74th Street since the Ultra100 was first available. Currently I'm getting a solid 131-135 Mbps download/5.5 Mbps upload on a Motorola SB6141 self-owned modem.

8 Mbps is definitely possible with one channel. One time my modem only provisioned one channel and I could still get 30 Mbps download.

The Metro East is part of the St. Louis region. If it weren't for all the liberals, it might as well be annexed by Missouri.
They come over to Missouri to steal jobs and get gas & cigarettes. We still love them though, that's why we built all these bridges.

I thought all liberals were on welfare and wouldn't bother getting jobs. And they don't need gas for their Priuses. It's probably the illegals stealing your jobs, not liberals.

Sadly, like all things too good to be true, it came to an end last night. Here's a test from this morning.

It makes me wonder what they're up to tho. Faster speeds definitely seems to be easily possible.

If you're on Ultra you should be getting 120/5
