[Internet] 200/20 Ultimate 200 Now Active in Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA)My new upgraded speeds are now active here in Eagle Rock. I simply unplugged power, ethernet, coax from the back of my SB6141 Motorola modem and waited a couple minutes then reconnected. Upon reconnecting and running a speed test, i'm not running at 100/10. Looks like i'll have to swap out the modem to achieve 200/20. Good times! |

He got wither the Arris DG1670 if you don't have phone. Phone customers will get the Arris TG1672. You can buy a Motorola SB 6183 to save 5.99 lease fee. When you get the modem call in TWC to get it activated. |

They ended up giving me the Arris DG1670 modem, which has been working great. I did go into the modem configuration and set it to bridge mode and turned off both wifi frequencies as I use my trusty Apple AirPort Extreme for wifi. This modem is bigger than the last, which is the only thing I don't care for.
The 6183 is supposed to be a good modem, if you can find them in stock. |

Is it a wireless router? If so, that's normal. Unless you have an ac wifi router you're not going to see speeds above 100-150mbps.
Is this just a wired Ethernet 1Gbps router? Make sure it's running at full duplex and you're using cat5e or cat 6 Ethernet cables. |

Oh yeah, it's a wireless N router. Those speeds are normal. You're not going to reach the maximum throughout of 300/20 Mbps with the N router or any ac wifi router for that matter. But you may get closer with an ac router. It's the nature of wifi and interference and distance, etc. |
