Ring.to OBI configuration

Since I have not seen this before, I thought I would start a thread

Someone on here must have signed up for Ring.to? Have you tried to manually setup your account "not using the portal"?

Would you please be so kind as to share with us the settings that are shown when you access your OBI through the web page "of course blank out personal information".

Let's see if we can get some older OBI's to work with Ring.to.

Thanks,

John

I am sure many users here have signed up for accounts, but through a mobile app.
If you click Are you an ObiHai User? Click here first! at »ring.to/setup/ they still say they support only Obi devices purchased after May 1st 2014.
As far as I understand, they don't plan to support third party ATAs. Setting up an Obi without using the portal means you will need your SIP credentials, so technically they could be used on any ATA. So that would qualify as a third party ATA.

As discussed over on Obitalk, from your posts you can't get around the Anveo 911 requirement on Obi. This is addressed by Obi and Ring.to on their FAQ's as well.

Does Anveo require 911 on each sub-account?
