Hanging hammock

I have an ENO hammock that I was considering hanging in my downstairs bedroom. My only issue is, my bedroom is constructed with 2x2 wall studs. I'm about 145 lbs. which would be about 72.5 lbs on each stud . That too heavy? What do i do?

I forgot to mention , but I believe they are anchored into concrete. Not sure if that changes your answer or not.

Doesn't change my answer, no. I would want to *know*, so I wouldn't risk it.

Are all four walls 2x2's?

If the 2x2s are anchored into concrete walls, then anchor the hammock directly into the concrete walls also.
If the 2x2s are anchored into a concrete floor, then never mind.....

It isn't just weight down.
There is a lot of pulling force. ~200 lbs...

Actually, the forces on the studs will be MUCH greater than that!

You have to consider that the force is pulling on the studs at an angle. So you have both a downward force, and a horizontal force pulling the studs inward toward the hammock.

It is this pulling force that will be quite significant, and which the studs in the wall aren't really designed to handle.
