Is your internet connection working?
Column 1 indicates the LAN ethernet/coax with wireless bridge is connected. (bridges 2 and 4). Column 2 indicates the LAN ethernet/coax hardware is connected. Column 3 indicates the WAN ethernet/coax is connected. Column 4 indicates the LAN wireless is connected. Column 5 indicates the WAN connection is not PPPoE.
It is possible to edit the WAN connection, but it is auto-sensing between ethernet and coax by default. All is well, do not change anything. |

said by Ctsvnino:Is it Ethernet connected or both? Unfortunately, you did not post enough of the past. Look at the last row on the page. It should be titled "coax channel". Under the broadband connection column, it should say either coax disconnected, or something else, indicating it is connected via coax. said by Ctsvnino:Should I disable the coax? No. serge87 asked HOW, not IF. said by Ctsvnino: Ont is on the outside the rest is inside That has nothing to do with your question. BTW, the Actiontec is a router, NOT as modem. |

You only lose guide and on demand data if you use your own router and don't utilize some sort of moca to ethernet bridge. The STB's utilize moca for their ethernet connection, hence the need for the verizon router.
If you completely remove the verizon router and use a 3rd party with just ethernet, then yes you lose guide data and on demand. |
