[Fixed] skybeam Canopy service

Man, this shit is wrong! 15/3 small business service is what im paying for.
Come to find out the connection is still shared with the residential users pipe.
This means I\you get 2/1.6mbps from 0915 to 2159 peak kido hours, and 16/4mgps between 2200hr to 0900hr, What small business can use this crap?

So I guess I have to go back to Century link's 16/.876mbps. I thought I found a better upload. To good to be true.

What area do you live in? There may be options other then Skybeam who has a horrible reputation.

That is how a WISP - Wireless ISP works. A single access point may serve 30 to 100 subscribers. The only way around that is to wait until hell freezes over and they offer a dedicated point-to-point (PtP) link from their tower site to you. Ain't gonna happen, bubba..well, mebbe for several hundred dollars per month.

Skybeam has, last time I looked a year ago, a congestion based throttling policy that cuts your speed to half of your paid plan. From what I read it may be only for an evening duration. You shouldn't be throttled to less that 7 Mbps, so 2 Mbps points to more likely Skybeam has oversold the access point or has insufficient backhaul capacity to the tower.
