Just changed 2400SA box to Samsung - power off with 1 button?

With the SA2400 box there was a feature in settings that whatever was plugged into the back of the cable box would go off when the CBL power button was pressed.

Any time I wanted the TV/Cable box to go on or off, all I had to do was hit the CBL button.

I am unable to find such a setting with the new Samsung box I was given today - though there is still an auxiliary power output on the back of box.

The instructions for the box say it is not recommended to plug anything into that outlet. (then why provide it?)

But anyway. Is there any way to power on/off the cable box AND TV with one button using this new Samsung box?

thanks in advance for any input!

It takes a fraction of a second to hit TV & Cable buttons on the remote. I wouldn't recommend putting anything of value in an ungrounded outlet instead of a surge protector in the event of a small power surge.
