Speedtest.teksavvy.comHey TSI folks. I just tried to run the speed test at speedtest.teksavvy.com from my phone and it gives a message that that the current version if the app is out of date. Is this an older version of the software that you guys are hosting? I'll try it at home later but I thought I'd give you a heads up now.

It's flash, works fine on the PC. Just tried from my mobile as well and it gave me the same error as you. We don't have a mobile friendly version at the moment, sorry about that. |

You can download a mobile Speedtest.net app. Just look in App Store or Google Play. |

Thanks Pierre. Funny that it worked fine yesterday but today not so much.
Oh well, it's definitely not the end of the world.

You can select the TSI speedtest server in the phone app, example on my iPhone. I'm sure Android is the same. |

Cheers! L. It takes some doing to get flash set up on newer versions of Android, and even then you're stuck with an older version. Maybe that version of Flash is no longer supported by ookla speed test. |

Maybe that version of Flash is no longer supported by ookla speed test. Flash is basically dead anyways. Even Adobe is integrating HTML5 into their Flash tools with a mind to outputting "Flash" projects to standards based output. Best to just use the Speedtest app. |

I don't get why people insist on running it in the browser. Just download the app! it works perfectly. |
