[OS X] Safari updatesI read that Apple released Safari 7.1.1 for Mavericks yesterday, but Software Update does not show this (I have 7.1 presently). Anyone else having the same issue? |

Apple pulled the updates later in the day yesterday. No explanation why. |

Unless I missed something, the article only said that 8.0.1 (for Yosemite) has been removed by Apple- nothing was stated about 6.2.1 (Mountain Lion) or 7.1.1 (Mavericks) being pulled. |

FYI, I have a mid-2011 21.5" iMac running 10.9.5. I got the Safari 7.1.1 update yesterday and installed it with no problem. |

I assume that they will be re-worked and issued again. |

I found direct links to the Safari updates: » forums.macrumors.com/sho ··· =1825558Apparently some people lost Safari entirely after updating, but it is suspected that this only happened if the updates were done from the App Store. I installed 7.1.1 onto my Mac Pro and everything is working fine- no issues with the installation. |

Thanks Dave. I guess that I was lucky, for I got my 7.1.1 update from the App Store and Safari is working fine. |
