Wow. How screwed up is the testing process at MS that such a huge mistake could actually make it out the door? Does this mean that NONE of the MS Exchange developers use Outlook to read their email???

I'm seeing more and more software (not just from the big guys) being released with what appears to be minimal/no testing. I can only think it is due to increased pressure from management to "get it out" due to real/perceived market conditions.

I saw this in my own personal career (system/hardware/firmware/software development).

We live in a world where development schedules are measured in months. The first thing to be cut is "testing" (I've seen it first hand). That's what users are for nowadays
