[X1-X2] AnyRoom DVR w/ X1I feel dumb even asking this since I've had X1 for quite some time now... but is it not possible to pause or rewind/FF live TV in the rooms that have the smaller boxes that simply interface with the "main" box? I guess I never tried this before, seems kind of odd and very inconvenient... |

No, the main box has the hard drive that technically gives you that ability. |

Any plans to change this going forward? |

It would only work if the remote boxes used the main box's tuners.
That said, given the amount of memory in newer cable boxes, I wonder why they couldn't set up a RAMdisk and use that as a buffer. I have a feeling media company paranoia may be part of it... |

Lack of this functionality could be a deal breaker for some on this product line. |

You can always get this functionality with VZ FIOS TV. |

I go about it in a roundabout way. Watching television on a satellite box. I press record then right away use the FF/REW or even pause for pseudo pause live tv. |

that doesn't even work on my satellite boxes. I have to go into the recordings then select the recording. Comcast needs to get with the ball game and offer the ability to buffer from satellite boxes like directv, etc do. |

I agree even if it's 30 mins. Kind like my satellite radio. |
