Vemdia internet not workingHi,
I was wondering if someone can help me. I signed up for vmedia about 2 mths ago and everything was working fine until 5 days ago. The internet light on my ADSL2 modem was red. I've tried resetting the modem a few times and still no luck. I have also tried a variety of options (unplugging / replugging, waiting a few hrs before trying it again, buying a TP-link modem, etc), but still getting no internet service (and thus no tv or internet). I've call the tech dept at vmedia and they, after being on call with them for >1-2 hrs, are saying that everything is good on their end. I even tried to call by dlink ADSL2 modem guys and they don't know what the issue is. Can someone help?

Did you try reconfiguring either modem for your VMedia DSL login? A red Internet light typically indicates an authentication error such as an incorrect password. |

I tried to login and made sure the username and password were correct. I was even given a new password while on the phone with tech services. Unfortunately, that still didn't help. |

If you're absolutely certain you typed in the username and password right and set VPI/VCI to 0/35, you should ask VMedia to take a look at your line sync values, something may be off. |
